"All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts and made up of our thoughts. If a man speak or act with a good thought, happiness follows him like a shadow that never leaves him."
- Buddha
"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."
- Buddha

- Buddha
"It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, which lures him to evil ways"
- Buddha

"If you have a glass full of liquid you can discourse forever on its qualities, discuss whether it is cold, warm, whether it is really and truly composed of H-2-O, or even mineral water, or sake. Meditation is Drinking it!"
- Taisen Deshimaru
"Harmonizing opposites by going back to their source is the distinctive quality of the Zen attitude, the Middle Way: embracing contradictions, making a synthesis of them, achieving balance."
- Taisen Deshimaru
"To study Buddhism is to study ourselves. To study ourselves is to forget ourselves."
- Dogen Zenji
"Those who see worldly life as an obstacle to Dharma see no Dharma in everyday actions. They have not yet discovered that there are no everyday actions outside of Dharma."

- Dogen Zenji
"Life and death are of supreme importance. Time swiftly passes by and opportunity is lost. Each of us should strive to awaken. Awaken. Take heed, do not squander your life."

"A flower falls, even though we love it; and a weed grows, even though we do not love it."
- Dogen Zenji
The Universal has already granted you the wisdom to accept the things you cannot change.......so why then is there so much unhappiness experienced when souls fail to live up to human expectations.
Key words there being, 'human expectations', who can honestly say that they know, beyond any doubt their own souls' contract, let alone another's. So why judge, why condemn, why lament at another's behaviour, way of life or beliefs.
Accept and allow, and if necessary, simply wish them well, and walk away. Yes, it is as simple as that, all it requires is courage... lack of fear... authenticity... and the commitment to 'do no harm', either to yourselves or others.
Remind yourselves not to put blockages in the way of The Universal Flow of love, in this way, acceptance becomes instinctual allowing the smooth integration of the Cosmic Flow from 'The All That Is'.
All of us. Despite what you may or may not believe are here as pupils, living, hopefully learning and growing, attaining mastery over our own weak, lower self, and if you tout self as being a master above others, then my love you have failed the exam....no exceptions, we are all in it together.
Is it just me, (I would be quite willing to accept it could be), but is anyone else tired and bored of the same old recycled memes day after day? I find in the main I am at the point of knowing most of them off by heart.
So much so that responding is limited to hitting a like button or not even that and opting out of repeat typing the same comment/view.
Ah the dead art of actual conversation, and before anyone says it.... yes, I know it's social media, save yourself the trouble.
If you are busy searching, then you are not actually seeing, all you are metaphorically doing is filling your bookshelves with bits and bobs, to be studied at some time or other, or a trinket gathering dust. Pause for a time and notice what draws a response from you, what urges you to follow it, that synchronicity that appears out of the blue, the unexpected invitation. life ebbs and flows in a regular rhythm, and in that flow is your particular rhythm, dance to it, honour it, don't look for the bigger and best, it usually never is, stop looking, begin seeing. And in any moment allow yourself to...live, laugh and most of all...love.
Ahem....pause for a moment and take a look at your own carbon footprint, how are you husbanding the Earth, or are you the type that prefers home comforts, and something like a giant street party, to make the popularist point.
Answer to all of this. Humans are the spoilt child shouting at the sweet shop owner about rotting their teeth, when the answer is so very simple, you are the consumer, like any business...withdraw / reduce your custom and one of two things happen, manufacture is reduced or it is stopped completely, and another way is found to regain your custom, but then your 'comfort food' would be reduced for a time. Do not expect me to be a part of the 'herd' with you, because I won't, my love and loyalty lies with our Earth Mother.
This particular 'parent' knows when and how to practice tough love. You want nothing more than a 'candy cane', sorry I don't supply them.
Blessed Be.
Now here's me firing straight from the hip.
I don't want to hear or read, any more of your claptrap about... it's a conspiracy, civil rights, its a hoax, it wont kill you, a mask is not needed. Which world are you living in?
Do I take it then, that if you need a surgical procedure you wont object if the entire theatre staff, don't wear masks and scrubs, or the nurse changing your dressings is still in the same uniform that she has been going about in to several different places during the day. THINK ABOUT IT.
What about the rights of other people who have to endure through all of this. Get in touch with reality...please, find out how it is affecting people and for how long it takes some of them to recover from it I doubt this length of article will be read, that's Ok., if you disagree or are upset, feel free to exercise your choice, and I wont enter into any arguments about it. all I will say and mean, is.... Blessed Be.
“Everybody has a little bit of the sun and moon in them. Everybody has a little bit of man, woman, and animal in them. Darks and lights in them. Everyone is part of a connected cosmic system. Part earth and sea, wind, and fire, with some salt and dust swimming in them. We have a universe within ourselves that mimics the universe outside." ―Suzy Kassem
My loves, release and let go of all the defence tactics, the portrayal of an adopted image, the brash, pseudo strong declarations. Allow the beauty that is within to flow freely outwards, not just for the benefit of self, but for the benefit of all.
In a world that has grown increasingly harsh, and confrontational, be an oasis of peace, allow the soft beauty of your inner being to flow outwards, it is there, allow its voice to be seen, heard, and felt.
You look for power, you look to appear strong, you look to appear wise? …then decide to drop the shields, the facades...THE APPEARANCE...for there is nothing stronger, wiser, loving, and beautiful, than what you truly are... a ray of the Divine, simply allow the manifestation of it.
Be gentle, be strong.
